Hi Sonya,
This is a very belated but a very big
thank you! The wedding was everything we wanted, and you were so
helpful. We really appreciate everything you did, and the use of
your truly beautiful venue. Everyone has commented on how gorgeous
it was, and even those who couldn't come but saw photos have said
that it looked like a magical place. It was the best day/night
ever - we wouldn't have changed a thing.

- After
searching the greater Bay of Plenty Area for a suitable wedding venue,
it was with great delight we fell upon Ambiance. After meeting with
Sonya and experiencing her outgoing, helpful and informative
professional personality, this sealed the decision to have our
ceremony and reception within the beautiful grounds of Ambiance.
With the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere created, this provided
us with the perfect venue to keep children and adults alike comfortable.
The kids were able to run around and yet adults had space and
intimacy without intrusion from boisterous kids.
Sonya made our whole experience from start to finish easy and
manageable, with sound advice, cups of tea and support with solutions
when things go wrong, as they often do!
Our day went off without a hitch and ran smoothly. I can
certainly let Sonya take credit for her help in making it this way.
Friends
and family were enchanted with the lovely surroundings
and hospitality as were we.

from the bottom of our hearts for playing such a big part in making
our day special and hassle-free. The venue was perfect because it
allowed us the flexibility of making our own arrangements, and then
using your hire company for the rest (who were also great by the
way!). Your service leading up to the wedding was great, but on the
day you just amazed me with all the extra little things you helped
with to make things run smoothly - which is what every bride needs!
The bar lady was fantastic, and we got so much great feedback on the

We had the best day of our
lives at Ambiance. As a bride, to arrive at such a beautiful venue to
walk down the aisle to my future husband was just magical. The setting
was perfect in every way - lovely open spaces and a stunning marquee.
We wouldn't change a thing. I will be recommending Ambiance to future

What can I say? Not only do you have an
absolutely gorgeous venue but you're an outstanding wedding planner
as well. Any request I had you were there to make sure it
happened and you delivered everything you said you would. You were
even there getting your hands dirty with us the day before, helping
us set up and decorate the tables, right down to completing the
finishing touches on the morning of the wedding. You have such a
stunning venue which gets even better at night with the fire and the
fairy lights, everyone commented on your outdoor area saying how
warm and beautiful it was. I have already highly recommended your
venue to someone else and will definately keep doing so.

Wow! Ambiance was perfect for us;
we wanted a garden wedding without the stress of having it in our
own, we wanted a marquee without having to pay 10 grand for it and we wanted a full noise wedding without it being over the top.
Everything went really smoothly, Sonya
and her husband were fantastic. People reckon it was the
best wedding they have been to eva and we have pretty
honest mates :)

Sonya,
We
have, of course, reflected many times on Emma and Vaughan's wedding,
each time with a warm glow of satisfaction at what a wonderful day
it was, and we sincerely appreciate how much you contributed
towards making it such a success. As you know, we were keen to
introduce rather more of our English formality into the traditional
Kiwi proceedings, and were conscious of treading a fine dividing
line between our two cultures. We are grateful to you for
rising to the occasion and for the guidance and recommendations you
gave us. I hope you will have the opportunity to extend our
personal thanks to Terri, Wendy and Greg, whom you recommended and
who really did us proud with the service they provided. We
particularly appreciated the "executive decision" to serve
the top table with their dessert! Everyone we spoke to - and I
think between us that was all the guests - seemed genuinely to enjoy
the day as much as we did, so we hope that counts as a success!
Ambiance
is a beautiful setting and provided a magnificent backdrop for our
celebrations. We were sorry that you lost your olive trees in
the gales the previous week, as, although it did not detract from
our enjoyment, we appreciate the additional work it created for you.
And, speaking of work, you did put in far more than you had
indicated or we had expected, and for that we are truly grateful.

simple thank you doesn't seem quite enough to reflect your valued
support and guidance you have given us in making our wedding day one
of the best day of our lives at Ambiance. Sonya, you became my
personal wedding planner and never once objected to answering my ten
million questions I threw your way over the 18 months we
took to plan our wedding at Ambiance. From day one, you became
my rock right through to the day after the wedding. You
helped with everything from the caterer, florist, cars, tables, chair
covers, fairy lights right through to the clean up the next day!
I am most grateful for this. Lance can't understand why you
don't have a bigger waiting list of two years or more for your
beautiful venue. I'm sure once word gets out, your venue will
become the most desired in the Bay of Plenty! I'm already
singing your praises and only hope that others get in quick to secure
your services.
My 120 guests are still talking
about our wedding and some of the older guests are saying that
this was "the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been
to" and I'm sure that they have been to quite a few in their
time. I could go on about my special day at Ambiance, but overall to sum it all up... you were both
extremely helpful, supportive, kind and caring.
You treated us both as people rather than paying clients and I will always
remember you for this.

family. From what we can gather we were rather a loud, keen to drink
party of people, hence the need to empty the portaloo before the close
of day – oops! I can certainly assure you that everybody there had a

We just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help in planning
our wedding and providing such a wonderful venue. You were great to
deal with right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Your
advice on various suppliers was much appreciated and ensured the day
went like clockwork. From the caterer to the DJ to the photographer we
definitely had a great team of people!
During the days leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day we
felt completely confident that if anything cropped up that had to be
dealt with you would take care of it for us. That was very comforting
given that we did have a few wedding nerves!
The venue looked fantastic and we know you had put in a lot of time
and work to make it look great for our special day. Every one of our
guests thought Ambiance was wonderful. We still cannot believe that
the day went so smoothly, largely due to your huge efforts. It was
great to have you as part of our big day, from sorting out the tables
and seating on Friday to putting mischievous groomsman in the final
taxi. We would recommend Ambiance Gardens to anyone.
So thanks again for providing us with an awesome wedding venue.

What can we say, Ambiance was the
perfect location for our wedding day. Plenty of parking for the
guests, and beautiful gardens/surroundings for them all to wander
around and enjoy while waiting for the bride to arrive, and not to
mention the wonderful backdrops/settings they made for our photos.
We thank you for all your help and
input, you truly made the day a lot more relaxed, just knowing that
you were there in case of an emergency - which there was one (can you
remember having to give my brother a lift to pick up a spare set of
keys to the bridal car, after they had been locked in there - oops!).
We can't recommend Ambiance enough to
any couple looking for that venue which is easy for the guests to find
and with no car parking hassles, with private and intimate
surroundings, exactly what we were looking for, Ambiance is so
beautiful - everything was just perfect!
Sonya, again, we can't say "Thank
You" enough, from the moment we met you we knew that Ambiance was
the place for us, nothing was a hassle for you, and we really
appreciate everything you helped us with on the day.

- We found Ambiance gardens and marquee to
be the perfect venue for our wedding reception. We were after a
stylish, relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy the outdoors and
experience the magic that a marquee at night offers. The gardens
open fireplace created an area for guests to sit back, talk and soak
up the ambiance. The marquee is perfectly set up for all amenities.
Sonya is efficient, professional and down to earth. She is genuinely
interested in making your day as perfect as can be and was extremely
helpful even down to the smallest
detail. It is a truly magical reception venue.

- 1st November 2003 was our
special day when we were married at Ambiance Gardens. We cannot speak
highly enough of Sonya as she went out of her way to make our day just
perfect. In the days leading up to our wedding there was lots of rain
but Sonya still managed to have the place looking great. Everything
was done that we required, chairs set out for the guests, table and
chair set up for signing the register and everything set up for
photos. As our wedding was large, with over 120 people attending the
ceremony, Sonya even helped with parking then she went that little bit
further in helping me with my dress while getting around for photos.
We would recommend Ambiance Gardens to anyone as our day was wonderful
and we have awesome photos to look back on.
